Teak
Teak is a superb timber. Natural oils provide outstanding durability and the timber is extremely stable, as well as being an attractive golden-brown colour and slip-resistant when wet. It is the timber for yacht decking, high end garden furniture, and high-class exterior joinery when cost is not a concern. EU and UK Timber regulations now prohibit the import of Teak from Myanmar, so we are working to replace this with plantation grown Teak from Java and Costa Rica.
