African Walnut
Although not a true Walnut, African Walnut falls in between European Walnut and American Black Walnut in colour, and has a subtle beauty all of its own. In colour it varies from a light golden brown through to a mid brown, with occasional dark lines running through. The grain is frequently interlocked, requiring care in planing and finishing, however the timber has a high natural lustre and polishes well, with oiled finishes in particular bringing out the colour. Our stocks are OLB independently verified.
