Welcome to WordAs we established ourselves as the leading supplier of legal, high-quality Teak in the UK, we made the decision in the summer of 2023 to participate in our first trade show in decades, the Southampton International Boat Show. This decision was somewhat spontaneous, illustrated by the improvised setup of our little exhibition stand.
Ten days of ‘timber talk’ followed. Meeting hundreds of boatbuilders, naval architects, yacht owners and even just curious members of the general public who were drawn to the rare sight of natural materials amidst a sea of shiny plastic.Wearly packing up our makeshift stand as the show drew to a close in late September, we reflected on the wealth of knowledge we’d gained. There was still an obvious hunger for natural solid timber, customers just needed guidance on where to find it.
We’re pleased to announce we’re giving ourselves a head start with preparation for the 2024 boat show. Our stand will be bigger and better, we’ve employed a design team that looked at us with pity when we showed them last year’s effort.
